To the Zoo We Go!
Cicada Crew Families, One of the most memorable CFI traditions is our school wide field study that we take to Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens. It is special to experience the zoo alongside classmates, teachers, and family members. Thank you to the chaperones and those who joined in for the fun, as it takes a village. Our field study to the zoo allows for us to wonder, observe, and research firsthand, which is one of the reasons I love this experience the most. The kids get a feel for what it looks like to live and learn as a biologist, scientist, advocate, and researcher. Here are some memorable photos that I snapped of the day.
