Our First Grade Journey

 The Final Chapter of our Kindergarten Journey Cicada Crew Families,  I cannot believe that we are coming towards the end of our Kindergarten year! Although this chapter is coming to an end, I am so grateful that I will be able to continue onto First Grade alongside your children!  Cicada Connections: Share Fair, Gathering, Splash Day We have been overjoyed and overflowing with excitement as we are surrounded by celebrations of learning, community, and growth!  Gathering  I couldn't be more proud of this group of children and their commitment to making a difference in our world at their age. They have inspired me and so many others in countless ways, and they have encouraged me to stand up for what makes my heart full. This past week at Gathering, Mrs. Palmatier and I were honored to be able to host our first United Kindergarten Gathering (parts 1&2) to celebrate all of the growth that we have witnessed through these children. Over and over again, with each child standing up to be honored, to share their knowledge, and to sing, I was amazed and reminded of the reason that I am here.
